Our Current Fleet
At LMI we understand that freight comes in all shapes and sizes. With that in mind we operate with a fleet of vehicles suitable for anything and everything that could require movement across Australia.
Our primary truck and trailer combinations are as follows
- 45ft Flat Top Semi-Trailer - standard open semi-trailer that is used for general freight
- 45ft Drop Deck Semi-Trailer - generally used for machine transport and items that may be subject to height restriction
- 7-12 tonne Rigid Trucks - increasingly popular solid body trucks with open trays. Excellent for sites with restricted access
- can carry both general and vehicular freight
- Drop Deck Extendable - used for long vehicles and long single structure items
- Crane Trucks - primarily in Sydney - we have both rigid and semi trailer crane trucks with 6-30 tonne lifting capacity
- Floats, Low Loaders, Deck Wideners - used for large oversize and specialized transport
- A-Frame – With 9 specialized A-Frame trailers all equipped with the latest safety and tie down load restraints, we are sure to get your concrete panels to site without a fuss
- B-Doubles - LMI has an extensive fleet of multi combination b-double set ups to meet all potential extended load requirements
At LMI, our vehicles and operators comply with NHVR Heavy Vehicle Regulator Guidelines. We keep a copy of the NHVR Summary of Allowances on hand at all times. In addition, all LMI loads are subject to Workers, Marine Transit, and Public Liability insurance. Copies of insurance documentation are available on request.
Our drivers are required to have full PPE and appropriate edge protection with their vehicles at all times. We work with clients directly to promote workplace health and safety.
